(COCA-COLA BEVERAGE CO. (MICRONESIA), INC. September 8, 2012)—Professional athletes dominated the 7th Powerade Banzai Memorial Off-road Half Marathon and 10K Fun Run.
Multi-awarded triathletes Mamiko Berger and Mieko Carey top billed the women's half marathon, after clocking in simultaneously at 2:11:50.
Sean Smith was the champion in the men's half marathon with the time of 1:38:58, followed by Ronald Villafria, who submitted 1:41:38 on the clock. Renan "Butch" Sublemente settled for a third place finish with 1:50:53.
Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia), Inc. supported for the seventh year its sports drink eponymous race, "Powerade Banzai Memorial Off-road Half Marathon and 10K Fun Run" on Sept. 8, 2012. The event, attended by 40 runners, enjoyed close to $1,400 in combined support from Transpacific Group of Companies comprising Coca-Cola, Subway Restaurants, Foremost Foods, Foremost Scoops, Glimpses Publications, and Glimpses Advertising.
Coca-Cola commissioned a specially designed 7th year T-shirt for the event.
